In this piece, the solved the problem creatively by making a bunch of different designs in their drawing.
These make the background interesting, as well as adding the different shades of black and grey.
The points of emphasis are by the saw, around the string, and by the tools in the top right.

Using a trail of black, I connected the emphasis points. Also with my shading I did loops and made the shading colors swirl together. I have 4 emphasis points, where the branches meet the tool, where they meet the hammer, and on both sides of the leaves. I made them stand out by using a dark black, with some light shading next to it.

Harmonious lines

This is my drawing. I did a shoe, a firefighter badge, and my first initial. I did these because I love to run, I volunteer for the pomfret fire department (I have my own gear), and I did the j because it is part of my name. I filled the page by doing soft thin lines. Using the lines, I made them travel to the shoe to show that it was the main focus of the picture. I drew emphasis to the shapes by doing different forms of harmonious lines. For the j, I drew bold lines behind it. For the badge, I drew a circle extending outwards and had triangles to make it look like it was rocketing off. And for the shoe I drew dark lines drawing into it, as well as making the background bend towards it. That's how I drew my project.
